Client Background

Emirates operated two major maintenance facilities in Warsan located directly opposite each other across a public road. For seamless operations, both sites required high-throughput connectivity (minimum 30 Mbps), low latency for corporate applications, high availability with near-zero downtime, and secure encrypted communication. However, the client faced critical obstacles: no direct fiber existed between buildings, obtaining RTA permissions for road cutting was not feasible, and available Etisalat MPLS circuits came with substantial monthly OPEX.

Triway delivered a comprehensive transformation through integrated solution components

Civil Setup & Infrastructure

Erected 3-meter poles on rooftops of both Emirates buildings. Laid structured cabling from each pole to nearest indoor network node. Installed industrial-grade PoE switches at each endpoint to power radios.

Microwave Radio Deployment

Installed 5.7 GHz microwave radios on both poles. Configured secure air-to-air point-to-point link with AES encryption and secure tunneling for data protection. Achieved 256-bit secured transmission link.

High-Performance Output

Deployed link delivered 100 Mbps throughput (over 3x the 30 Mbps minimum requirement), 99.99% availability replicating MPLS-grade reliability, and dedicated corporate tunnel integrated smoothly into Emirates' core network.

Application Integration

Completed full network integration, route configuration, tunnel authentication, and end-to-end testing. Once completed, Emirates' network traffic securely flowed across wireless corporate link with zero interruption to critical operations.
